Opened in May 2020, our Irvington clinic is located on Washington St, in the heart of Irvington. Our facilities include an on-site grooming area, call center, four exam rooms, a pharmacy, treatment area, surgery room, x-ray, dental area, and an isolation room.

Dr. Phillips has been a veterinarian since 1996, a veterinary clinic owner since 2000, and owner of City Way Animal Clinics since 2012. His special interests include canine reproduction and English bulldogs. When he’s not working, he’s reading up on entrepreneurship, business, and how to craft an excellent cocktail. He enjoys traveling, live music, and good food.

Loves of his Life:
Kurt and his wife, Julia, have two awesome kids, Emma and Jude. They’re empty nesters now, but are still busy taking care of their two dog-kids, Jenner (Vizsla) and Lexington “Lex” (French Bulldog).

He has a passion for community outreach, team culture, and animal wellness. When Ken isn’t making sure things are running smoothly at our clinics, he’s focused on molding a healthy lifestyle. He has a passion for physical and mental health, and you can often find him at the gym.

Dr. Collins brought her 22 years of experience in veterinary science and animal reproduction to City Way Animal Clinics in 2020. She’s traveled the globe, working and studying in places like Australia, Ireland, and California. She believes that the best veterinary care involves client relationships and communication, and she has special interests in reproduction, neonatal medicine, and feline medicine. She enjoys learning sign language, traveling, and spending time with her kids at the park.

Loves of her Life:
Dr. Collins and her husband, Jeff, have two amazing daughters, Aoife and Fiona. Their cats, Takhi (the word for a Mongolian wild horse) and Kramer (insert Seinfeld bass line here), are best friends with Lily, their sheltie mix.

Personal + Professional:
Ann came to City Way Animal Clinics in 2020 with over five years of veterinary experience in the greater Indianapolis area. She has a special interest in theriogenology (animal reproduction) and client education. Ann is passionate about learning new things and helping others, and believes the best veterinary care means always putting her patients first. She enjoys playing a myriad of instruments, such as saxophone, clarinet, and piano, painting miniature models, and gaming.

Loves of her Life:
Ann and her spouse, Eric dote on their three cats Sapphire, the one-eyed wonder; Penelo, the silly one; and Buffy, who loves to play in the shower.

Personal + Professional:
Catlynn came to Furr in 2017, and has been grooming pets since 2006. She completed an internship at a vet clinic in high school, during which time she decided that working with animals was her calling. Since then, she has managed salons and started her own small farm. When she’s not at the pet salon, she’s at home with her own animals. She has a passion for animals in need, and fosters and rescues livestock animals.

Loves of her Life:
Catlynn’s long list of pets include: Standard Poodle, Ruby; two Great Pyrenees, Delta Dawn and Pony; Mr. Sheffield’s Nanny Fine aka “Fran,” a powderpuff Chinese Crested Dog; two miniature horses, Boots and Banjo; two pigs, Kevin and Sir Francis Bacon; two cats, Hissy and Stripes; and a whole brood of chickens and ducks.
